Science Technology Engineering Math Program

Program Focus: Gardening and Life Skills

At Pentecostal Temple Preparatory Academy, our STEM program goes beyond the classroom by integrating hands-on gardening as a core component of science, technology, engineering, and math learning. Through our school garden, students explore real-world applications of STEM principles—like measuring growth rates, understanding plant biology, designing irrigation systems, and applying environmental science. Gardening also teaches essential life skills such as responsibility, patience, teamwork, and healthy living. Students not only learn how food grows, but also how to care for the earth, work together to solve problems, and make nutritious choices. This holistic approach empowers our students to become innovative thinkers and responsible citizens, rooted in both academic knowledge and practical experience.
